CNC MILLING SETUP / PROGRAMMER

Our Putnum, CT, location is currently seeking an experienced CNC Milling Setup/Programmer who has experience in a production environment and possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Setup / Program CNC Milling Machines
• Inspect parts per print and in process documentation
• Clear chips and maintain a safe work environment

Required Experience and Skills

• 1 to 5 years in a machine shop environment
• Ability to understand G/M code and create/edit programs
• CAD/CAM programming experience (mastercam experience a plus)
• Proficient use of micrometers, gauging, and comparator
• Familiarity with Vertical and Horizontal machines using 3,4, and 5 axis
• Skilled blueprint reading

Other Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Proficiency in general math
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
