We continue with our business and contingency planning at all our sites to protect employees and operations across all our facilities. Where possible, we are enabling our workforce to work from home, to help slow down the spread of the virus and to protect our operational teams working at our sites.
As an essential business servicing the medical device, aerospace and safety industries, Carolina Precision continues to operate at all our locations ensuring that product availability and distribution continues to all our customers.
We have implemented steps at each facility to reduce the risks of exposure and any possible transmissions. We have raised the frequency of our cleaning processes to attempt to mitigate health issues. All employees continue to adhere to hand washing and are contributing to the disinfecting of surfaces and machinery. We attempt to adhere to spacing at six feet or more whether in meetings, passing by each other or in our machine cells. We have limited visitor access to essential personnel (FedEx, UPS and deliveries of essential materials, tools, etc.).
Our business planning is helping to ensure the safety and integrity of our supply chain. We continue to have close communication and collaboration with all our partners to ensure our customers’ demands are met.
