CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE – April 9, 2020

Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is a manufacturer and supplier in several critical infrastructure industries, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Government. CPT is an essential supplier accountable for delivering products for government functions and life sustaining support.

As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak has grown, and various states as well as the federal government introduce new dictates or pass legislative bills, be confident that CPT is staying on top of the information as quickly as it is coming out.

These are certainly uncommon times, however, know that Carolina Precision is making the best decisions we can with the information we have at hand for you, the business and for our customers. We remain committed to comply with the Public Health and Government’s guidance and mandates to mitigate the impact of the outbreak to our employees and customers worldwide.

We continue with our business and contingency planning at all our sites to protect employees and operations across all our facilities. Where possible, we are enabling our workforce to work from home, to help slow down the spread of the virus and to protect our operational teams working at our sites.

As an essential business servicing the medical device, aerospace and safety industries, Carolina Precision continues to operate at all our locations ensuring that product availability and distribution continues to all our customers.

We have implemented steps at each facility to reduce the risks of exposure and any possible transmissions. We have raised the frequency of our cleaning processes to attempt to mitigate health issues. All employees continue to adhere to hand washing and are contributing to the disinfecting of surfaces and machinery. We attempt to adhere to spacing at six feet or more whether in meetings, passing by each other or in our machine cells. We have limited visitor access to essential personnel (FedEx, UPS and deliveries of essential materials, tools, etc.).

Our business planning is helping to ensure the safety and integrity of our supply chain. We continue to have close communication and collaboration with all our partners to ensure our customers’ demands are met. As the full impact of COVID-19 remains unknown, we are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of any changes to our operational status.

If you have any specific questions related to your products or deliveries, please contact your Carolina Precision customer care or company representative.
