Patrick started working at Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) in 2005. He says “making all the complex and intricate medical instruments used for surgeries gives employees an overwhelming sense of pride knowing that our hard work is going to make someone else’s life a little better.”
He believes the company values its employees as reflected by the benefits offered such as low-cost health insurance, free dental, 401k matching/immediate vesting and a very supportive HR system that provides ample training. The executive team’s vision and direction are well thought out to expand the company especially in the medical device industry. “As the milling department lead, I develop my staff and their capabilities which directly impacts this vision.”
Most people are amazed that we are making surgical instruments and implants from just a raw piece of metal. Patrick recommends CPT for manufacturing jobs and states “the benefits, small company atmosphere and facility independence make this a truly unique place to work.”
CPT is very proud of Patrick and supports his service commitment to the military reserves. He is a 14-year veteran of the Air National Guard holding a rank of Staff Sgt. as a Combat Arms Instructor with the 103rd Security Forces Squadron out of East Granby, Connecticut!
